Prices are shown on the website and will be confirmed again when you get in touch with to book your Keepsake slot.  P&P and any charges for embroidery may be added, where applicable.

To secure your Keepsake space I will request a £20 desposit which can be paid by paypal or by bank transfer. Once the deposit has been paid, I will confirm your booking and will arrange to post you out an information pack. This will detail the number of items of clothing you'll need to send and the address to send them to. It will also include a short form so you can let me know if there are any special requests or considerations you'd like me to be aware of when creating your Keepsake.

Sending your outfits to me

Please ensure any clothes you send are clean and, where possible, stain free. If items have been in storage you my wish to wash them to freshen them up. You'll be pleased to know that ironing is not necessary!

If you send any items which I feel aren't suitable, I will return these, uncut, along with your finished Keepsake.

Because of the handcrafted nature of Keepsakes, I may not use all of the items you send, but would ask that any you definitely want to be included are specified on the form I'll send you. I will always try to include any 'must have items' unless they're not suitable. If you are not sure about certain items please feel free to contact me to ask. If I have any questions once I've received your clothes, I will get in touch.

Your outfits remain your responsibility until they are received here at Pretty Little Polka Dot and I have confirmed their safe arrival. I would strongly recommend sending your outfits to us by recorded delivery as I cannot be held responsible for any issues with getting the outfits to me. Please remember to put your return address on the parcel.

By sending your clothes to Pretty Little Polka Dot, you are giving permission for me to cut them up to make your keepsake.

Once your clothes are here

I'll let you know once your outfits have arrived safely and will request the final balance which will include any postage and personalisation costs. I will of course deduct any desposit you have already paid from this balance. Final balance can be paid by Paypal or bank transfer.

When the final balance has been paid I'll will start work on your keepsake and will aim to have your Keepsake completed within 4 weeks. In the unlikely event of this being delayed, I will always let you know and keep you informed of progress.

Your finished Keepsake
Keepsakes can vary greatly in their appearance due to the types of materials and outfits supplied by you. All Keepsakes are totally unique; your Keepsake will not look the same as any of Keepsakes shown on our website.

When creating your Keepsake I will make design decisions about which items, and which parts of items to use in your Keepsake. If you have any specific requirements or requests you must detail these on the form you send me when you send your outfits.

Great care and attention will be taken when creating your special keepsake. I am delighted to say that in 7 years of creating them I have never had any issues with anyone being uphappy with their finished Keepsake. In the unlikely event you're not completely happy with your Keepsake, please let me know immediately and I'll endevor to rectify any issues.

Please be sure to thoroughly check all spellings and dates when detailing embroidery on the form, as i cannot be held responsible for any errors.

I do my very best to ensure that all of the information on our website is correct, however. given the handmade, personalised nature of our Keepsakes, all Keepsake measurements are approximate.

Delivery
Wherever possible I will always look to use Royal Mail Special Delivery for mainland UK delivery of your finished Keepsake. For larger size keepsakes, this may not be possible due to the weight limits, and in these cases I will use a tracked Parcelforce service.

Any unused items will be returned, along with your finished Keepsake.  If you send more outfits than required and i'm not able to return these along with the finished keepsake due to postage weight limits, I may have to charge you the additional postage costs to return them seperately. Any offcuts of clothing will be disposed of unless you specifically request these to be returned on the order form before the the Keepsake has been started. Again, additional postage costs may apply if offcuts need to be returned.
